Concrobium Mold Stain Remover
Eradicate Mold Staining with Less Labor
Concrobium Mold Stain Remover delivers exceptional mold stain removal with no brushing, sanding or blasting. That helps professional restoration contractors reduce labour costs and complete jobs more quickly. The unique solution can be applied with any standard sprayer, so mold stain removal projects can be completed without the capital equipment investments and operating expenses associated with dry ice and soda blasting techniques.
The proprietary solution employs liquid oxidative technology to facilitate physical mold removal, but it contains none of the harsh chemicals associated with traditional oxidation products. The 2013 Liquid Tri-Phasic Mold Stain Remediation study provides scientific proof that Concrobium Mold Stain Remover physically removes mold as well as, or better than traditional abrasive techniques, at a fraction of the labour investment. Concrobium Mold Stain Remover can be used in homes, hospitals, schools, commercial and industrial buildings ... anywhere mold stain removal is required. It’s ideal for post mold remediation clean-up and restoration.
Safe for use on most hard, non-porous or semi-porous surfaces such as wood and composite wood, concrete, masonry, drywall, grout, fiberglass, tile, plastic laminate and metal.
The product is engineered to remove cosmetic mold stains from surfaces. To kill active mold, treat the area first with Concrobium Mold Control® and then use Mold Stain Remover to clean any remaining mold stains. Follow stain removal with another application of Concrobium Mold Control to prevent mold from returning.
How it works
Concrobium Mold Stain Remover employs peracetic acid (PAA), a highly effective oxidizing agent for mold and bacterial stains. Upon mixing, the patented enzyme-driven process generates peracetic acid of 2%, an effective threshold for cleaning.

The regular sized Mold Stain Remover system will make approx 1.5 gallons of cleaning solution. Expect approximately 300-400 sq. ft. of coverage from this 2-bottle system. The small size Mold Stain Remover will cover approximately 100 sq. ft.
Yes, both bottles are required. They contain different ingredients, and both bottles must be mixed with water for the solution to work.
The solution is to be sprayed onto the mold-stained surface utilizing a pump sprayer or airless sprayer.
The best results are seen when the solution is applied where surface temperatures are above 50○F or 10○C. Avoid direct sunlight and ensure that the product is mixed with warm to hot water (80-100○F or 27-38○C). Prior to using Concrobium Mold Stain Remover ensure that the surface has been cleaned of dirt and debris and maximize the surface dwell time to increase product efficacy.
Concrobium Mold Stain Remover is scientifically proven to detach mold growth from surfaces allowing efficient removal by HEPA vacuuming. Please refer to our 2013 white paper – The Liquid Tri-Phasic Mold Stain Remediation
6) Does the degree/extent of mold contamination determine the amount of Concrobium Mold Stain Remover to apply?
Yes, the greater the extent of the mold growth, the more important surface saturation is and the longer the dwell time required on the surface.
Concrobium Mold Stain Remover is safe for use on most hard, non-porous or semi-porous surfaces such as wood and composite wood, concrete, masonry, drywall, grout, fibreglass, tile, plastic, laminate, aluminum, and metal.
The 30 minute wait period allows the formula to reach its peak effectiveness. Continually stirring throughout this period allows the crystals to dissolve quickly and increases the efficacy of the solution.
No, when the solution is mixed it generates a peracetic acid at a low percentage of 2% so the solution is not corrosive and only targets mold and mildew stains. We do, however, recommend testing on an inconspicuous section if there is a concern.
No, once mixed the solution breaks down into water and oxygen.
11) What if I have hard water; will that impact the effectiveness of mixing Concrobium Mold Stain Remover?
