The Mike Holmes Spring Cleaning Check List

By: Concrobium Mold Experts

Now that it’s officially spring– well, at least according to the calendar anyway– thoughts naturally turn to Spring Cleaning, attending to all those little niggling projects that accumulated during the winter  and getting your space in tip-top shape for the rest of the year.

To help you out, Mike Holmes and his great team have put together a little spring cleaning primer for making the most of the season and keeping you on track for taking care of all the little jobs around the house.  In addition to really practical advice like testing the fire extinguishers in your house and switching out the batteries in your smoke detectors, the Holmes team suggest checking your home for mold and treating it with Concrobium Mold Control:

Dealing with Mold: Most surface mold should be cleaned with an antimicrobial solution, like Concrobium Mold Control®, including windowsills and bathroom grout. Not only can bleach be more toxic than mold, but it’s also ineffective, especially on porous surfaces like wood and drywall—the mold will just come back.

There’s also a quick Spring Cleaning checklist you can check to make sure you’re on the right track;  there’s even printable version.

Concrobium Mold Control and Mike Holmes are a great one-two punch for get your home safe & healthy this spring and for keeping it that way all year round!
