Introducing our Concrobium Mold Fogger: Part 3
The cold fogger is amazing as it saves you time and money during your mold remediation process. But don’t forget it also needs some tender-loving care. Prolong the life of your fogger by reducing damage and corrosion over time with some helpful tips and answers to your FAQ’s.
- Keep an intake air filter in place during use. This will help prevent dust and fog droplets from entering the unit.
- After each use, flush out the fogger with some warm water and a mild soap to get rid of any leftover residue. Some products, such as our Concrobium Mold Control, contain salts that may cause rusting or corrosion on metal surfaces if buildup is left in the machine.
- Turn off machine immediately after fogging. The fogger will continue to run, with or without liquid left in the machine, which may cause staining on your fogger.
- Use only water and/or oil-based products (antimicrobial, cleaners, pesticides, disinfectants, etc.) that can be cold-fogged. If in doubt, contact the product’s manufacturer. With the fogger housing being aluminum, acid-based cleaners can be extremely corrosive.
Q: My fogger has broken down, is it covered under warranty?
A: Yes, as long as you still have the original sales receipt, the fogger has a 5-year warranty. You can contact our Customer Service department at 1-866-811-4148 for further information.
Q: What voltage does the fogger use?
A: The fogger is available in 110 or 220 volts. Use only a properly grounded (earthed) three pin electric outlet. The ground wire is an essential safety feature of this product. Do not remove the grounding lug on the power cord. Do not use an ungrounded (3”-to-2”) plug adapter. An extension cord, if used, must have a continuous ground wire leading to earth.
Q: I need more intake air filters; can I order them from you?
A: Unfortunately, we do not sell or ship direct to customers. But filters can be ordered through the fogger manufacturer (Createch USA Inc.). You can contact Matt at 850-421-6002 or email email@example.com
Q: How do I figure out how much product I need when fogging basement?
A: We recommend calling our Customer Service Department, 1-866-811-4148, with your dimensions (length, width, and height of room) to determine how much product is required for that particular space.
